We are a Fort Collins based firearms training business,
specializing in delivering NRA certified courses of instruction
at your location, and for private groups.
Our NRA certified instructors emphasize firearms safety and are
strong advocates of a law abiding citizen's right to own
firearms for self defense, hunting and sporting purposes.
Courses in non-lethal self defense, and emergency and disaster preparation are also
available.
According
to the FBI, in 2010, an estimated 1,246,248 violent crimes
occurred nationwide. According to that same report,
there were an estimated 84,767 forcible rapes, an estimated
14,748 persons were murdered, and there were an estimated
367,832 robberies nationwide. Even if you don't choose
to be an armed citizen, you still want to choose to be safe,
aware, and ready to protect yourself from one of these
violent attacks. For our customers who aren't quite ready to make the
commitment to using a firearm for self defense, we also
offer the nationally recognized and NRA developed
"Refuse To Be A Victim" seminar.
We have added a new blog site for 2012 - Given the
many events surrounding gun rights and especially the
political season, this year is going to be very dynamic.
Our
new blog site will be growing rapidly, with articles
about guns, gun rights, self defense, and a variety of other
topics. The blog allows for you to contribute with
comments and discussion. Join in the conversation, and
provide your inputs on a variety of topics.
The mission of Northern Colorado Firearms Safety Training is to
foster an understanding and appreciation of our God-given
right to self-defense, our rich Second
Amendment heritage, firearms, and firearm safety, and to
give our customers the knowledge, skills, and attitude
necessary to safely and responsibly utilize firearms for
self defense and sporting purposes.
